Dayo has over 20 years of law practice experience and has delivered high-level legal engagements with the marine, oil and gas, banking, real estate and FMCG industries. As managing partner, his innovative and collaborative approach has enabled Rockville & Co. to provide the legal structure and grounds for successful multi-million-dollar commercial transactions and asset acquisitions.
His major purview of practice includes an emphasis on Ship financing and securitization – where he closed over 200 deals covering local, international and cross-border financing, sale/purchase of oil vessels, tankers and other strategic assets.
Dayo holds a B. A in English Language Studies from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, an LL. B from the Lagos State University and BL from Nigerian Law School. He is a notary public and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (Nigerian Branch), Nigerian Bar Association, and the Nigerian Maritime Law Association.
